Sand Goby or Sandy Goby is one of the Asians’ favorite fish. It is also called Baila in Bangladeshi. The head is depressed with a protruding lower jaw while the body is compressed towards the caudal fin—usually brown or light brown with various darker brown spots and flecks along the sides.
