Red potatoes are small to medium in size and are round or oval with a somewhat uniform shape. The flesh is crisp, white, and firm. The thin skin is ruby to deep red and is smooth with some light brown speckling, spots, and indentations. There are also a few medium-set eyes across the skin's surface.
