Step 1: Bring 8oz of water to a boil Step 2: Add one teaspoon of loose tea. Add freshly ground or premixed chai spices (masala) along with the tea if you want to make masala chai, and let it brew for 2-3 minutes. Step 3: Add milk and sugar to taste if desired. We like to add 1/4th cup of milk and one teaspoon of sugar. Step 4: Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and bring to a boil. Step 5: Strain tea leaves and pours them into a cup.
