A simple fun and super yummy crisp bhindi with pickle spices.

Ingredients,

  • 1/4 Cup oil
  • 1 1/2 Sliced onion
  • 1/4 Cup tomato paste
  • 1 LB Okra
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Nigella seeds
  • 1 tsp Fennel seeds
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
  • Salt to your taste
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 5-6 Button red chilli

Steps to make it,

  • Lets start with grinding for Pickle masala for which add below ingredients in a blender,
    • Cumin seeds
    • Coriander seeds
    • Mustard seeds
    • Nigella seeds
    • Fennel seeds
    • Fenugreek seeds
  • Grind the mix into a coarse powder and set it aside
  • In wok, heat oil and add below ingredients, 
    • Sliced onion
    • Tomato paste
    • Okra
    • Lemon juice
  • Stir to saute the spices until fragrant
  • Add okra in wok, and stir it for few minutes
  • Add below ingredients in the wok,
    • Achari masala
    • Salt per taste
    • Red chilli powder
    • Turmeric powder
    • Button red chilli
  • Mix it well, and cook it for 10-15 min
  • Add some green chilli for garnishing
  • It's ready to be served!
