Achari Bhindi
A simple fun and super yummy crisp bhindi with pickle spices.
Ingredients,
- 1/4 Cup oil
- 1 1/2 Sliced onion
- 1/4 Cup tomato paste
- 1 LB Okra
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 tsp Nigella seeds
- 1 tsp Fennel seeds
- 1 tsp Fenugreek seeds
- Salt to your taste
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 5-6 Button red chilli
Steps to make it,
- Lets start with grinding for Pickle masala for which add below ingredients in a blender,
- Cumin seeds
- Coriander seeds
- Mustard seeds
- Nigella seeds
- Fennel seeds
- Fenugreek seeds
- Grind the mix into a coarse powder and set it aside
- In wok, heat oil and add below ingredients,
- Sliced onion
- Tomato paste
- Okra
- Lemon juice
- Stir to saute the spices until fragrant
- Add okra in wok, and stir it for few minutes
- Add below ingredients in the wok,
- Achari masala
- Salt per taste
- Red chilli powder
- Turmeric powder
- Button red chilli
- Mix it well, and cook it for 10-15 min
- Add some green chilli for garnishing
